Mercury
I mounted a Ultradyne Mercury muzzlebrake to a Savage 110 VSX chambered in .300 Win mag. The rifle weighs 8.7 pounds and has a 24 inch fluted barrel. In my opinion it is a very lightweight rifle and kicks like a mule. But after the addition of the Mercury brake it has recoil comparable to my wife’s Ruger M77 chambered in 243. It is absolutely unbelievable!!!

Typical brake as far a noise and gas, but it far surpassed my expectations in recoil reduction. IMO the recoil is less than shooting a .22. I’m absolutely loving it!
